About Gombos Martial Arts Sports Club

"Gombos Martial Arts Sports Club " Association was established on 30.04.2002, based on the Government Ordinance no.26/2000 of the sporting identity certificate no. MS/A2/00479/2002, under the initiative of the Club's President Mr. Gombos Attila, World Champion and multiple European and national champion.

According to the physical education and sports law nr.69/2000, the club is a sports structure, private sports club, without a lucrative purpose, non-profit juridical person.
"Gombos Martial Arts Sports Club " Association is affiliated with the Romanian Federation of Martial Arts, Kempo and Wushu Department.

SHORT HISTORY OF THE Chinese WU-SHU

The style practicated by the club’s athletes is wushu, ancient sport in China, which draws its roots since the clans time from the era of primitive community and has developed and enriched over the great history of social development of the Chinese people. From Zhou and Qin dynasties to Yuan and Ming a variety of styles of wushu have appeared in the sports field.
- After the advent of China, wushu has become a component of socialist physical culture and sports, and had a spectacular development under the guidance and support of government. Wushu has become an integral part of physical education in all over the world. Wushu courses are designed to the knowledge by the students of basic concepts, some methods of fighting and simple wushu exercise.
- The State Commission for Physical Education and Sports has erected a research institute in wushu in Beijing, which represents the largest research center of Wushu theory and techniques, making technical exchanges and striving to become an international wushu academy.
- So well deserved, wushu became an Olympic sport in 2008, at the Olympic Games in China.

 

The importance of practicing wushu style

Wushu, a durable sport and well known, has solid basis in science, including many branches of social and natural sciences. The leading theory is based on classical Chinese philosophical principle of "Yin and Yang". Sometimes the effort in moving is hard, sometimes easy, sometimes dynamic, other times static, it is all about effort in moves that are hard (vigorous) or texture, dynamic.

- Wushu, a remarkable cultural heritage of China, consists of a system of fighting techniques. Contains the Lu Tao exercises forms and free fighting, following the strengthening of health, strengthening the will of power and improving of fighting skills.
